National Inclusion Week: Different Pathways to Success

As we celebrate National Inclusion Week, Bryan's story highlights the value of creating diverse pathways into the industry and supporting people to develop their careers in different ways.

There is no single route into a successful career, and Bryan Singh's journey is a great example of how dedication, continuous learning and opportunity can lead to professional achievement.

Bryan joined Kendall Kingscott in 2007 as a 17-year-old Technician and has progressed through a variety of roles over the past 19 years, including Trainee Technologist, Trainee Building Surveyor, Assistant Building Surveyor and Building Surveyor.

Alongside gaining valuable practical experience, Bryan invested in his professional development through further education, achieving AssocRICS status and completing a degree programme with the University College of Estate Management (UCEM).

In May 2026, Bryan reached a significant career milestone by achieving Chartered Building Surveyor status. His success reflects years of hard work and commitment to his profession.

Looking ahead, Bryan hopes to continue progressing professionally working towards becoming a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor and supporting future candidates through the APC process.
