National Inclusion Week: Freddie's T-Level Experience
There is no single route into a successful career in the built environment, and Freddie's journey is a great example of that.
After completing work experience with Kendall Kingscott, Freddie was inspired to pursue a Level 3 T Level in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning. The qualification combines classroom learning with industry experience, giving students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a real working environment.
As part of his studies, Freddie spends one day a week in our Exeter office, gaining hands-on experience, contributing to live projects and developing technical skills using industry-standard software. Alongside this, he is building a broad foundation of knowledge through technical and practical modules at college.
Freddie's experience highlights the value of creating different pathways into the profession and the important role that work-based learning can play in developing future talent.
We're delighted to see Freddie thriving within the programme and look forward to supporting him as he continues his career journey.
