A shining example of our 1 Team interdisciplinary approach, we led the remodelling and refurbishing of an existing Grade II listed sports hall, formerly the Town Gaol.
Our designs included the installation of a new mezzanine floor structure and alterations to provide a state-of-the-art gym facility with new spin and exercise studios as well a contemporary juice bar and high-specification exercise equipment. As a building of historic importance, we undertook extensive consultation with Heritage/Conservation officers. We carefully co-ordinated new mechanical and electrical installations to enhance the historic character and features of the building.
