Building Awards 2026 Finalist

Our Hounslow Small Sites Programme has been named a finalist in the Building Awards 2026 in the category 'Housing Project of the Year'.

The programme has transformed six underused former garage sites across the London Borough of Hounslow into 36 high-quality affordable homes. The project demonstrates how small, challenging infill sites can be unlocked to provide much-needed housing while enhancing existing communities.

Designed to meet Passivhaus low-energy standards and achieve operational net zero carbon, the homes combine a fabric-first approach with technologies including air source heat pumps, MVHR systems and solar PV panels, helping to reduce energy use, lower bills and improve resident comfort.

A key innovation was the delivery model, which brought six dispersed sites together as a single programme, creating efficiencies in design, procurement and construction while maintaining a consistent design quality. The result is a scalable approach to affordable housing that delivers social value, biodiversity improvements and sustainable urban regeneration.

We're delighted to see this project recognised.
