Bennet Gardens - 20 new homes in conservation area

This site in a residential area in Frome contained a vacant 1980s-built 36-bed care home. Feasibility studies considered several options, including converting the existing building to flats. The final proposals called for its replacement with 20 new two and three-bed houses and apartments providing new family homes. 

The scheme was designed to respond to the local vernacular of the properties within the immediate vicinity of the site and the Conservation Area. All have high sustainability credentials.
