Frank Towell Court - 102 new homes

Project details
  • Client: Hounslow Council
  • Location: Hounslow
  • Role: Architect

Sixty years after Hounslow council built the first ever homes on the Frank Towell Court site in Feltham, we're delighted to have supported the design of 102 new council homes, delivered as part of the 60th anniversary.

This is a housing complex that prioritises sustainability and reducing carbon emissions, ensuring energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact. Each property is crafted
to provide comfortable and affordable living. Beyond just homes, Frank Towell Court nurtures a thriving community. The project sits within the existing estate and includes a mix of contemporary mews houses, apartments, and maisonettes, with accessible homes for wheelchair users. The surrounding outdoor spaces have been redesigned to enhance habitat biodiversity, promote well-being, and encourage social integration among residents.

Homes have been designed to be highly energy efficient, utilising air source heat pumps, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, underfloor heating, triple-glazed windows, and photovoltaic panels.
