Sponsoring local youth football

As a company, we are always thinking about social value and making a positive impact on the community. It’s not just about encouraging our business and employees, but also about making a difference in the world around us.

It’s been a fantastic season for the U10’s Broadclyst Football team. They have seen a successful summer, winning several games. KK is thrilled to have sponsored their new kit with our new branding. We cannot wait to hear about their upcoming season!

A bit about the team and their achievements:

These boys have had an incredible journey together! They’ve been teammates since they were just 5 years old, starting at U6 and progressing through to U10 with a few additions along the way. A large majority of the boys attend the same school, so they’re not just teammates, but also the best of friends who have formed a unique bond.

The team enjoy socialising outside of football, as do the parents, and spend time together enjoying the park, beach, social events and gatherings. They share a commitment to try their hardest, supporting and encouraging their teammates. But most importantly - they have fun!

They have had an amazing season, reaching the plate final at Tiverton Town and then surpassing this when winning 5 out of 8 summer tournaments.

The club is special, and the parents actively encourage and support their children, teaching them to be gracious in winning as well as in defeat. It is ultimately a family unit that values support, physical activity and team sports.

“We wish to thank Kendall Kingscott for reaching out to our club, grassroots football relies on local companies within the community who  can offer financial support to recruit, engage and deliver activities to children. It supports having a new kit for the children, affiliation fees, equipment, coach development, tournament entries, tournament staging, trophy presentation, venue hire etc., the list goes on, but it is very much appreciated.”

Steven Mathews, Youth Football Manager at Broadclyst.
